We have been going there since 2002 and ever since we always go there for our sweet bread , there staff is nice and they treat you like family. The prices are reasonable and there sweet breads are sweet and there bolillos/ birotes salados are so good, there tamale’s are good and there Champorrado to.
The pan dulce is always fresh with great sabor (flavor). On the weekends they have tamales 🫔 😋, make sure you get there early because they do run out
I love this bakery! Their cinnamon rolls are to die for, and the staff is always so friendly. You can smell the fresh bread from a block away—definitely my go-to spot for a sweet treat!
I wanted to rewrite my review since they NOW have prices for their things at the front counter which is incredibly helpful. Although this place is small and might not have tons of pan, they refill rather quickly. I have had so many compliments that their conchas are the best around, incredibly light, fluffy and delicious for $1 each. Bring cash because they charge $2 to use card.
Very authentic Mexican bakery. Friendly staff. Great tasting pan dulce. The tamales are very delicious but buy early they sell out fast. You can tell a good bakery when city workers go there to buy sweet bread and tamales. A must try bakery.
This was my first visit to Camacho’s Bakery, and I am already impressed! I started with a box for fifteen items, but after seeing all the delicious choices, I quickly realized I needed a bigger one for twenty-five. Even that wasn’t quite enough because I ended up adding even more goodies. Everything looked amazing, and I can’t wait to come back for another round of treats. This place is definitely a must-visit!
This is my fifth time stopping by Camacho’s Bakery, and it’s hands down the best, freshest bread I’ve found in many, many years. Every time I come, the quality is consistently excellent. There’s almost always a line, which tells you everything you need to know—it’s worth the wait. The location itself is very small, but don’t let that fool you. What they lack in space, they more than make up for in the quality of their bread. If you’re looking for truly fresh, authentic baked goods, this place is a gem.
